Andrew has extensive experience having worked in both the Accountancy Profession and in Commerce in the UK and abroad. This rare combination allows him to advise clients using both his technical and commercial knowledge to help them achieve success.
Outside work he is keen on various sporting activities including rugby, cricket and a particular interest in running having taken part in several half marathons. In addition he is International Chairman at Trent Bridge Rotary club.

is the Senior Partner of the Firm having joined his practice with that of Bob Brooks and Mike Mayfield in 1993.
Nigel’s training and background ranges from training with a small practice through national and international Firms. He has had experience of very small to the very largest multinational organisations.
Nigel believes the success of the Firm is a result of good teamwork and putting the Client first. He feels it is a valuable asset to be in the position of running a business himself and experiencing the issues of owner managed businesses.
Out of the office Nigel’s time is taken up in supporting a musically active family, Chairing the Governing Body of his local Comprehensive School and active involvement in Freemasonry in Nottinghamshire.

Outside of the office, Gary is the father of three children and actively enjoys cycling, walking and tennis. He is also a keen follower of Nottingham Forest.
joined Brooks Mayfield in Autumn 2003, and became a partner in April 2008 – becoming one of the youngest partners in the East Midlands.
William specialises in providing business mentoring services to clients, which includes providing management accounts, forecasts and budgets, and general strategic advice to clients on a frequent basis. He is also one of the firms registered auditors, and as such undertakes a large amount of specialist audit work for Charities, Solicitors and FSA registered clients.
Away from the office, William has two young daughters and is heavily involved in local rugby, being chairman of Nottinghamshire’s top amateur side, Paviors RFC.

Beverley began her audit experience with one of the top six accountancy firms before joining the team at Brooks Mayfield over 29 years ago. In that time has had experience of numerous different trades and industries. She is a fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (FMAAT) and keeps up to date with the latest regulations and disclosure requirements through regular seminars and training. In addition to routine limited company audit work Beverley has experience of Solicitors Accounts Rules audits.
She is also involved with the production of management accounts as well as the occasional set of sole trader accounts for light relief!

Andy has been with Brooks Mayfield for 6 years and in that time has successfully gained his ACCA qualification.
He is primarily involved in the production of statutory accounts for clients. In addition to this Andy is involved in the audit of a number of companies. He also prepares management accounts and VAT returns for several clients.

is a member of Brooks Mayfield’s Audit team. Lindsey is currently studying for her ACCA qualification and has been with the firm for 2 years. In addition to audit work, Lindsey is also involved in the preparation of statutory accounts and management accounts for a range of clients.

has been with Brooks Mayfield for three years and is involved in all aspects of both taxation and accountancy.
Whilst mainly looking after the tax affairs of a portfolio of 200 clients’, James also produces accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, as well as helping out in the payroll and VAT department, when needed.

started with the Inland Revenue in 1987 moving to public practice in 1990. Adrian qualified with the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) in 1993 and has worked for both small and international accountancy firms. He has a wealth of experience in personal and corporate taxation, capital gains tax, trusts and associated tax planning including inheritance tax and residence & domicile

has been with Brooks Mayfield for 19 years and has spent 35 years in the accountancy profession. Margaret is qualified with AAT. Margaret has a vast experience in dealing with tax returns for directors, self employed, partnerships and trusts, including capital gains, foreign income, rental income and CIS.

runs the payroll department at Brooks Mayfield.
Pauline has been with Brooks Mayfield for over 20 years. Pauline has a vast amount of experience in running payrolls of all sizes and frequency, be it a one person monthly payroll or a 50 person weekly payroll, as well as all statutory returns. Pauline prides herself on timely and accurate production of payrolls.

is one of two secretaries/admin support at Brooks Mayfield.
She has been with the company for 7 years and in that time, in additional to her normal secretarial duties she has taken on additional administrative work including H & S, office accounts, Companies House filings and time & fees.
